Prof. Ali Kutty Musliyar

Prof. Ali Kutty Musliyar, (Arabic: عالي كودي مسليار ,Malayalam:പ്രഫ. ആലിക്കുട്ടി മുസ്ലിയാർ)the well renowned writer, scholar, orator, thinker and the spiritual leader, is the principal of Jamiya Nooriya Arabic college, Pattikad and Quazi, chief jurisprudent, of Kasaragod. He is widely accepted for his extra ordinary skill in Islamic jurisprudence and was enrolled as the member of international Fiqh Council, under Rabiyathul Alamin Islami based on Jidda. He was set apart from his counterpart by his extra ordinary skill multi lingual and international network. He is joint secretary of Sunni cleric organization based on southern Indian state of Kerala, Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama and active leader of many sub wings.

Sheikh Ahmed Zainudeen bin Sheikh Muhammed Gazzali

Sheikh Ahmed Zainudeen  bin Sheikh Muhammed Gazzali (Arabic:شيخ احمد زين الدين بن شيخ محمد غزالي  , Malayalam: ശൈഖ് അഹ്മദ് സൈനുദ്ദീന് ബിന് ശൈഖ് മുഹമ്മദ് ഗസ്സാലി അല് മഅ്ബരി) grandson of Seikh Zainudin Makhdoom Kabeer, was the writer, orator, historian, jurisprudent and spiritual leader and widely known as Zainudeen Makhdoom 2nd or Zaniudeen Makhdoom Al Sageer (زين الدين الصغير). He inherited the legacy of his grandfather and was installed as the chief Quazi ( chief judge) in Ponnani locality as well as appointed as the chief Mudarris ( the main mentor in Darse- masjid based Arabic college) in the historic Ponnani Darse

KT Manu Musliyar


KT Muhammed Musliyar, widely known with his nick name KT Manu Musliyar, was the one of vanguards of  Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama and the respected spiritual leader among Sunni sector of Indian southern state of Kerala. KT Manu Musliyar, the graduate of Vellore Baqiyath Swalihatha Arabic, indulged in praiseworthy activities and widely lauded for his extraordinary dexterity in organizing field.
He was born in 1932 and died in 2009

Chalilakath Kunhahammad Haji

Moulana Chalilakath Kunhahammad Haji(Arabic: جاللكت كنّ احمد الحاج,Malayalam :ചാലിലകത്ത് കുന്നഹമ്മദ് ഹാജി)Kerala 1866-1919) was a Malayali Sunni scholar and Islamic educationalist. He is known for his special attention on the reformation of orthodox Muslims and as father new Madrassa system in southern Indian state of Kerala.

Kottumala Aboocker Musliyar

Kottumala Aboocker Musliyar, widely known in Sheikuna Kottumala, was the veteran leader of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama and general secretary of Vidyabyasa Board, educational wing under the organization. He was spear head of Sunni horde against novelty based organization and was the renowned organizer of the organization. He was blessed with a group of students, who became shining star in Sunni horizon.

Early life

He was born to Kunnali Haji- Fathima couple in 1918 at Peringotpulam village near Malappuram. He studied his primary classes at his native land, and later went to Parappanangadi Panayathil Darse (masjid based college) under Maulana Abdul Ali Musliyar, then celebrated expert in classical text. By 1943, he completed his post-graduation in Islamic classical text from Vellore Baqiyath Swalihath. He tied the knot with Fathima, the daughter of Komu usthad and was blessed with two daughter and a son. Bappu Musliyar, the active member of Samastha is his son.

Services

After post-graduation, he commenced a Darse (masjid based college) in Kottumala of Oorkam village with three student and later the institution became famous by arrival of new students like MM Basheer Musliyar and EK Hasan Musliyar. In 1956, he was appointed as chief Mudarris ( religious mentor) in Parappanangadi Panayathil Masjid and was the founder Mudarris of Pattikad Jamiya Nooria, the  reputed Arabic college in Malabar region established 1963. He rendered his service as principal in Pattikad Jamiya Nooria during period of 1977 to 1987. He was nightmare of novelty based dissident and was accompanied by Shamsul Ulama and Pati Musliyar in his anti-dissident operation. In 1951, he was joined in Msuhavara board (consultation body) of  Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama and continued the post until his demise. In February 23, 1957, he was elected as general secretary of Samastha Kerala Mata Vidyabyasa Board, the largest private education agency in Kerala and continued the post until his demise.

Demise

He left the mortal world in July 31, 1987 and laid rest at nearby Juma Masjid.

TKM Bava Musliyar

TKM Bava Musliyar (Arabic:   دي.كي.ام.باوا مسليار Malayalam: ടി.കെ.എം. ബാവ മുസ്ലിയാറ്) the muslim scholar hailing from Malappuram, was the former president of Smastha Matha Vidyabyasa Board. He served as Qazi (chief jurist) at Kasaragod for 25 years and possessed reputation as spiritual leader of Malabar region. He introduced many revolutionary reforms in education system of Vidyabyasa Board like scientific pattern for fifth standard board exam and introduction of authentic and reliable way in evaluation.

Fazal Pookoya Thangal(Arabic: سيّدفضل بوكوي,Malayalam:സയ്യിദ് ഫസൽ പൂക്കോയ തങ്ങള്) Yemen, c.1820 - Turkey, 1901 known as '''Sayyid Fadl''' and '''Fadl Pasha''', Yemeni Islamic missionary active in Kerala, was the spiritual leader of Kerala Muslims as well as the pioneer of Indian freedom movment.

KK Aboobaker Hazrath

KK Aboobaker Hazrath ,the eminent scholar hailing from Kerala the southern Indian state, was the former president of [[Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama]]. He was known for his sincerity, commitment to renaissance of Muslims and special command in classical Islamic text. He rendered his service in the form of well organizer, leader as well as the reliable cleric in Islamic subject.

Early life

He was born to Kunahammad and Ayishum couple at Edavanakkad Kurudan Paramb, Eranakulam. He fetched his early education from local Darse ( Masjid based college) located at Kochi, Taliparamba and Tanur and was enrolled at Velore Baqiyath Swalihath as well as Deoband for further studies. Sheikh Adam Hazrath, Sheikh Hasan Hazrath, Sheikh Hussain Madani and Shamsul Ulama were his main tutors.
In the field of service
After post-graduation from Deoband seminary, he took the post of Mudarris ( religious mentor) at historic Darse based on Tanur and later served at Kandapuram, Padanna, Potiyod and Pottichira. After long bed rest in 1975s, he was appointed at Pattikad Jamiya Nooriya Arabic college, famous PG Arabic college and later served as acting principal of Velore Baqiyath Swalihath.

In the organization

Hewas strident advocate of Muslim renovation and active member of Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama as well as it sub organs. He was appointed in Mushavara committee of the organization in 1957 and was elected as vice president of Samastha in 1987. After the demise of Kanniyath Ahmed Musliyar (1967–1993) he was elected as president of Samastha and rendered his service as chairman for two years. In 1971, he was elected as chairman of Jamiyathul Muallimin ( sub organization under Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama for Muallimin) and was the main organizer of the wing. He was the founder of Valencheri Markazu Tarbiya and was constant writer in Al Muallim, the official publication fo Jamiyyathul Muallimin

Demise


He breathed his last in February 6, 1995.

Kotta Abdul Khader Musliyar

Kotta Abdul Khader Musliyar ([[Arabic]]: كود عبد القادر مسليار ,[[Malayalam]]: കോട്ട അബ്ദല്‍ ഖാദിര്‍ മുസ്‌ലിയാര്‍) was the prominent Islamic scholar hailing from [[Kasaragod]], district of Indian state [[Kerala]] and an active member of [[Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama]].
Early Life
He was born as the son of Seema Kott Mammdka and Khadeeja in 1939 November 17 at [[Kasaragod]] district. He completed his higher studies from Kumbla high school and later admitted in various darses at Oliyathoor, Padanna, Ichilangod. For further studies, he went to Dayooband and Delhi in early 1965s. He tied knot with Rooqiya, the daughter of Abdul Rahman Musliyar, then quazi of Kumbadaja, a village in [[Kasaragod]].
In the field of service
After completing course from Deband, he served in MIC (Malabar Islamic Complex, Chattangal, [[Kasaragod]]), Shafi Masjid ([[Karnataka]]), Khilar Juma Masjid (Thayalangadi,[[Kasaragod]]) Thuruthi Juma Masjid, Parangipat Juma Masjid, [[Nellikunnu]] Muhyaddin Juma Masjid, Ichilangode Juma Masjid and Ummathur college. His valuable service was extended to the social and religious sector as he risked life and limb for the upheaval of the Muslim society. He occupied the office of joint secretary of [[Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Ulama]], Quazi of [[Mangalore]] (1990-2008), district secretary of Samasth Kannur wing, member of Samasth Vidyabya board, vice president of MIC. He served as the principal of MIC Mutavval College, Umattur Arabic college and played a vital role in establishment of Darul Irshad Academy, affiliated to [[ Darul Huda Islamic University]]. He was notable personality in the astrology and Islamic jurisprudence and was famous for his command in Arabic, English, Urdu, Malayalam, Persian languages.
Demise

He breathed his last in September 3, 2008 and buried in Mogral Puthur Kadappuram Juma Masjid
